200+nm Round-Trip Coastal Passage

Gain sailing experience on a five-day round-trip ocean sail to Charleston, SC. This trip has been designed to assist you in gaining experience and confidence while coastal cruising, and covers a minimum sailing distance of 200nm (nautical miles). Sailing through the night, log-keeping, cooking and cleaning are part of the experience.

american sailing associationAlthough sailing certifications  are not required for any of our passages, those following the American Sailing (ASA) program may use this time as an incredible way to earn your ASA 104 Bareboat Cruising or ASA 106 Advanced Coastal Cruising certifications while immersing yourself into the cruising lifestyle.

Expected Itinerary

Mon - Meet at 9am to discuss trip & provisions. Depart when ready. (Sail through the night).
Tue - Make landfall between 11am - 4pm. Have dinner together. Evening free.
Wed - Free day.
Thur - Depart Thursday morning (Sail through the night).
Fri - Make landfall between 9am - 2pm.

This trip requires a minimum of two berths to be purchased per sailboat.

Storyteller - Three private double occupancy cabin berths (beds/sleeps 2) are available each trip.
